when to replace

Diamonds may be forever, but unfortunately Benebones aren’t. They generally last a few weeks, or even a month or so. We hope this visual guide helps you decide when it’s time to retire your beloved Benebone.

We recommend discarding or recycling after a month (or sooner!) to be on the safe side. If your dog’s chew toy wore out quickly, or if you need more guidance on when to toss it out, send us a note with a couple of photos and we’ll chat it out!

Things are starting to get a little gnarly here. The product has become a bit deformed as a decent bit of the material is gone. If more than a sugar-cube's worth of product is missing, it's time to go.
